Get Your Kink On! Auction was an amazing success! This truly was a
community event with people offering their skills, talent and time to
raise money for our three benefiting charities: American Cancer
Society, The Network/ La Red and The Center of Sexual Pleasure and
Health. There were many brave people who volunteered to go up for
auction and several businesses and organizations that donated
services, tickets to future events and amazing prizes to be auctioned
off during the silent auction. At the end of the night and after NEDS
did their match up to $200 per charity, a total of $3000 was raised;
$1000 for each charity! We couldn't have done it without the help from
these amazing businesses. Be sure to show them some love and check out
their sites and products/events.

Upcoming Events August/September 2014
The summer may be coming to a close, but NE-DS is still in full swing. Here are some events that are coming up in the immediate future:
Ice Cream Social: FL Event Free for members, 5 dollars for non-members Saturday August 23rd 1-3pm
Greely Park Nashua, NH
Join NEDS for a sultry summer ice cream social. This is an opportunity to meet some friends, have a bit of fun with toppings, and socialize on a summer day. Think of this as a munch with spoons and cherries :)
Please RSVP if you're planning on going so we know we will have enough sprinkles. Rain date TBD.
We will be on the main side of the park on the Concord Street side, in the picnic area. Look for the black balloons. Please bring lawn chairs or blankets. There's sure to be a bunch of people and picnic bench seating might be a squish.

Join us for a training event that will cover basic first aid and in depth information for DMs. Whether you're just starting out in the kink scene, have enjoyed attending play parties for a long time, or are planning on hosting your own party, this need to know information will help keep you, and your friends or guests safe.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

This Show-and-Tell presentation will incorporate an ongoing discussion about safe mummification practices, wrapping techniques, various materials used for mummification, and demonstrations of wraps.
Mummification as a sexual bondage practice involves restraining a person's body by wrapping it head to toe, or neck to toe, or a variety of other ways, in materials like saran wrap/cling film, tape, cloth, bandages, rubber strips, plaster bandages, body bags, or straitjackets.

THE NEW ENGLAND DUNGEON SOCIETY (NEDS) WAIVER OF RESPONSIBILITY
This document is required to be read and signed by ALL participants before joining NEDS or being involved in any NEDS- sponsored activity.
Valid State Identification MUST be presented upon presentation of this signed document. NO EXCEPTIONS.
This is agreement certifies that _______________________________________________, (heretofore referred to as “I”, “Myself”, “Me”) am of sound mind and body at the time of reading and agreeing to the terms of this Waiver of Responsibility. I understand this is a legal, binding agreement between myself and NEDS, and understand and fully comprehend NEDS is an organization designed to promote education and self-responsible safe practice among bondage, discipline, sado-masochism (BDSM) lifestyle practitioners, within existing consensual relationships between individuals, or made by mutual consent with or without an act of writing. I also understand that NEDS provides a hosting environment for the purpose of safe, consensual education by way of private social gatherings and special events, and by sponsorship of such events between two or more parties.
By signing this document I confirm and agree that:

Dungeon Monitors (D/M’s) are in charge of all activity (scenes) at all times and have final authority over ANY issue. I understand that I am encouraged to communicate with the DM’s if I have any questions or concerns.
I understand mutual consent distinguishes BDSM from physical or mental abuse or assault. Context is what determines whether or not pain is pleasurable, and the context depends on the individual.
Safe, Sane, and Consensual behavior is a mandatory at all times. NEDS does not condone, suggest or approve non-consensual behaviors or activities or unsafe practices! If such interaction is your preference, NEDS is not the group for you. The use of safe words and/or signals is required. I understand and agree that I should immediately report any nonconsensual abuse to the DM’s.
I understand and agree that I am not allowed to touch anyone without permission. I understand and agree that I am not allowed to interfere with any activity without replied consent from the person in charge (TOP) of that scene.
I understand and agree NEDS is NOT a sex club, and NEDS does NOT provide partners for people.
I understand and agree fees collected are for the purpose of supporting the sponsoring entity’s expenses, and do not entitle payer to anything other than admission to the event. Anyone found engaging in or soliciting an act of prostitution will be permanently expelled.
I understand and agree that firearms, drugs, illegal beverages will NOT be allowed on NEDS property.
I understand and know that NEDS condones activities only between consenting adults, and that such activity may involve acts of partial or full nudity, Domination, submission, bondage, discipline, sadism and masochism, and extravagant trust or object reverence commonly regarded as fetishes.
I understand and realize accidents can happen in BDSM practice, as in any other physical activity. I further understand that these activities involve certain risks including, but not limited to, the possible negligent or reckless conduct of it’s participants, and I further deem that NEDS nor any affiliated supporters or sponsors should be held responsible for any such negligent conduct.
I accept the assumption of risk and I am aware that BDSM activities are considered extremely hazardous. I am voluntarily joining/participating in events hosted at NEDS for the purpose of gaining insight, understanding, and education for the purpose of participating in these activities privately, with full knowledge of the dangers involved, and I accept and assume full responsibility for any and all risks of property damage, personal injury, or death.I agree that neither I nor anyone through me or on my behalf will make any claim or bring a lawsuit against NEDS or anyone affiliated with NEDS. (i.e. owner, operator, employees, volunteers, promoters, sponsors, and contractors, and including, but not limited to owner, lesser or suppliers of any equipment used in connection with demonstrations or social entertainment held at NEDS) for any injury or damage suffered at any time while at NEDS, and I hereby release, waive and forever discharge them, their heirs, administrators, executors, and assigns, from any and all claims, demand, actions or rights or action, of whatever kind or nature, either in law or in equity, arising from or by reason of my attendance at or participation in the event or actives.

NEDS Road trip and Play Party: Providence, RI

Strapping it On!
This class is perfect if you've never used a strap-on before or explored anal play and will give the kinkster who's familiar with anal play & strap-ons the opportunity to get some more insight into techniques & toys to enhance the dildo fun! We'll cover safety basics for both holes, good toys for anal & vaginal strap-on fun & harness styles, and exercises for learning how to use them skillfully. (Think Jane Fonda meets Babes in Toyland!)
You are welcome to bring the dildos and harnesses you already own, or just rope if you don't have a harness yet.
Madelyn (Miss Wyld) first pegged a boy in 2003 and still loves to poke with her Feeldoe. This one time, at kink camp....
Hello NEDS members,
NotSo and I returned from Dark Odyssey Fusion yesterday; what an experience! It was our first time at Fusion and it took as a long while to decide to go to the event in the first place. We decided on Fusion because of the laid back, sex positive, kinky culture that it boasted. We were not disappointed!
After our 7 hour drive (during which I slept 6.59999 hours of) we arrived in Northern Maryland with nervous energy. At registration we knew we had made a great decision arriving at camp on Wednesday to get some downtime prior to the whole event beginning. At Fusion you have the option bring your own tent or rent a cabin bed. You also have an option to purchase a meal plan or prepare your own food. NoSo and I got cabin beds and the meal plan; we wanted to make sure we got to relax and did not want to worry about food prep or cleaning.
Okay now onto the good stuff. We took a stroll up to the Dungeon, and oh man...it was fabulous. As someone who has not been to many large scale kink events, I was super impressed. They had every sort of lube and protection (including chucks) that I could have wanted. They had tons of equipment and space. The lighting and music was spot on, it really put me in the mood to play from the minute I walked in. Which I would image is the point. There was also an outdoor dungeon that was equipped with all sorts of hardpoints. In addition to that outdoor dungeon, there was an open air dungeon in the pavilion which was fabulous. Again tons of equipment and space to play. NoSo and I played in the open air space and indoor dungeon, and we had a great time in both places. There was another outdoor space called Sex-O-Rama, I am sure you can guess what that was for ::wink::
What was even better than the space was the people who were in attendance. The community was awesome and friendly. It was great to meet so many people from across the country and globe who came out for this event. Speaking of people from everywhere, Fusion had tons of well known presenters giving classes every day from sunrise to sunset. I planned on going to more classes than I did, but I was having so much fun skinny dipping and meeting new people that I was a bit of a slacker in that area. I did see an awesome class on Mind Fucks put on by Eric Pride and a great and informational class on Watersports put on by Boymeat. I would highly recommend either of these presenters.
One of the highlights of camp for me was the kidnapping scene that I had. At camp you can "sign up" to be randomly kidnapped during camp. Not everyone gets kidnapped, it depends on the year, so by Sunday I assumed it wasn't my year. I am into interrogations, and fear, not really into pain so I wasn't sure what they would come up with. So on Sunday as I was "innocently" walking down the road to another campsite I was jumped, hooded and carried to a nearby field. Once in said field I was waterboarded until I told them all my sexiest fantasies. I think i unnerved them slightly by giggling most of the time, but gosh I was having fun!
NotSo and I can't wait for next year, and we hope that even more NEDS members will be there then!
